Police Department Headquarters

ECH provided full design services through construction administration for an addition and the total renovation of an existing Library building for the relocation of the Kent Police Department. This 18,000 SF, $1,200,000 project began with a building analysis that investigated all of the building systems for code compliance and useful extended life. We provided a seismic analysis of the structural system with design solutions for code compliance and analysis of the HVAC, plumbing, power, lighting, and architectural finishes with cost estimates for upgrading, maintenance and replacement. We then provided space programming services and space planning to determine a department "fit" prior to the purchase of the building, full design services and construction.
